Paddy Medley, outgoing Chair itag Board
The Board of itag and the itag team wish to sincerely thank Paddy Medley, Managing Director Hewlett Packard Enterprise Galway Ltd and Senior Director R&D, Hewlett Packard Enterprise; for his leadership, time and expertise in chairing the itag Board over the last number of years.
Chairperson of the Board is a volunteer role, that is demanding in terms of time and challenging in terms of managing all of the competing priorities for the board. Paddy brought dedication and tenacity to the role, while supporting the itag organisation.
During Paddy’s term of office, there has been tremendous growth in the tech sector along the AtlanTec Gateway, including an explosion of demand for top talent and the level of training delivered to our members through itag Skillnet.
The AtlanTec Festival over the last few years has reflected the growth in AI innovation. Cyber Security is in a significant growth phase – during 2020 itag organised two hugely popular Cyber Security programmes in conjunction with and supported by HPE.
Paddy’s time and support as chairman made these achievements possible. We are delighted that Paddy will continue on the itag Board and look forward to his continued contributions. For your leadership as itag Board Chair, Thank You Paddy.
