Continuous Culture Skill-Up

DevOps Galway in association with ITAG (Information Technology Association Galway) and GuruTeam are pleased to bring you our July event, where we will have a presentation from Jayne Groll (Co-founder and CEO, DevOps Institute), and this will be followed by a panel discussion on Security in DevOps.

Jayne’s IT management career spans over 25 years of senior IT management roles across a wide range of industries. Her expertise spans multiple domains including DevOps, Agile, ITIL and Leadership. Jayne is a recognized and respected IT thought leader and influencer. In addition to authoring the Agile Service Management Guide, Jayne has co-authored several IT position papers including “Modernizing IT Operations in the Age of DevOps” that was published in 2018 by IT Revolution. Jayne is very active in the global DevOps, ITSM and Agile communities and is a frequent presenter at local, national and virtual events.

Jayne’s presentation ‘Continuous Culture Skill-Up‘ will focus on the importance culture plays in supporting DevOps initiatives as before you can change your culture, you have to understand culture. Jayne will highlight the characteristics of successful DevOps teams and how they have been more successful with continuous integration/continuous delivery, along with the impact positive cultures have had with automation, continuous testing and security.

Panel Discussion on Security in DevOps

Panel to be announced shortly and will be comprised of security experts from the local community. The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions off the panel and learn from their experiences.
