This talk will explore the topic of design thinking and it’s value to individuals, teams and organizations. How one can gain and develop this skillset and what it means to create a culture of collaboration at scale.
Matt Fangman is a Senior Director of Design Thinking and Education at Genesys. Prior to Genesys, he spent four years at IBM, where he led the Design Adoption Framework which enabled design transformation for companies looking to implement human-centered practices at scale into their business. Notable clients included State Street, Edward Jones, Aetna, AT&T and Bancolombia. Prior to IBM, Matt’s career spans 20 years in the design industry, including leading design and user experience teams at AT&T. He is a past president of the Austin Chapter of the AIGA and an obsessive doodler.
What will happen on the evening:
As per all of our Meetups, one hour from 7.00-8.00pm is learning from our speakers, the 2nd hour is pizza and drinks and the opportunity to speak to other like-minded people interested in Design for Technology.
