In 2002, John co-founded the network security monitoring company NetFort Technologies in Galway. Under John’s direction Netfort built up an impressive portfolio of customers all over the world including US Navy, Washington Gas, ANZ Bank, Paddy Power and US Department of Treasury. In April of last year, NetFort was acquired by the US cloud security company, Rapid7. John remains with Rapid7 as Senior Director, Products.
John graduated from the University of Limerick with a B.Eng. Degree in Electronic Engineering (1986) and M.Eng. in Computer Systems (1994).
